Customers Can Wirelessly Connect Bay Area Offices to Equipment at 365 Main and Access Over 20 Telecommunication Providers

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., September 16, 2009 – 365 Main Inc., developer and operator of the world’s finest data centers, today announced the availability of a wireless point-to-point connectivity service for its San Francisco customers. The service allows customers to wirelessly connect offices to equipment hosted at 365 Main’s San Francisco data center. The service also allows customers to wirelessly access any of the 20+ telecommunication networks present in the facility.

365 Main recognized the potential of a wireless presence on top of the Infinity towers at 300 Spear street during their design in 2004. Working with the developers during construction, 365 Main ran conduit from 365 Main’s telecommunications meet me room to the top of one of the two towers. The thirty-plus story buildings are located next to 365 Main’s San Francisco data center and offer a direct line of site to thousands of businesses located in the San Francisco bay area.

To access the service, customers may use shared wireless communications equipment deployed on top of the tower or may elect to lease roof space and deploy their own communications equipment. T-1/DS3/FastE/GE connectivity links are available in pre-bundled or custom packages.

365 Main has partnered with SF Bay Area-based Unwired Ltd. to assist with the implementation of the service offering.
