365 MAIN SELECTS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY VOLUNTEER AS RECIPIENT OF ACE AWARD FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE IN EAST BAY
365 Main Employees Also Help Build Home for Low-Income Family

Oakland, Calif., Sept 3, 2008 – 365 Main Inc., developer and operator of the world’s finest data centers, today announced it will present its regional ACE award to a volunteer with the Habitat for Humanity East Bay affiliate. The award celebrates achievement, commitment and excellence in individuals and charities from the communities in which 365 Main operates. Last year the company opened up a 111,000- square foot facility in the Jack London Square region of Oakland, just 10 miles from 365 Main’s founding facility in San Francisco.

In addition to presenting the award to 12-year volunteer Gene Anderson, 365 Main is sending more than 20 employees to East Oakland to help Habitat for Humanity volunteers build a house for a low-income family. The all-day construction event will take place on September 6.

“The ACE award is at the center of our community relations program,” said Chris Dolan, CEO of 365 Main. “We created it to celebrate local citizens who work hard to improve the communities where we do business, and Gene Anderson has spent many years doing exactly that in the East Bay. We’ve been so impressed with the great work that he and all the people at Habitat for Humanity East Bay do that we decided to pick up our hammers and join them as volunteers.”

Anderson is an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity East Bay and has worked on construction sites throughout the San Francisco Bay area and around the world. Anderson, who also volunteers with the Oakland Firefighters Random Acts, believes that no one in the world should have to live in sub-standard housing.

As part of the ACE award, 365 Main will make a financial contribution to Habitat for Humanity Valley East Bay in Anderson’s name.

“We are very excited that 365 Main has selected Gene Anderson as the recipient of this very generous award,” said Eliza Schissel, resource development manager with Habitat for Humanity East Bay. “He has worked tirelessly to make a difference for low-income families in need of affordable housing and is a fantastic example of someone who saw a need and did something about it. We’re also extremely pleased that the folks from 365 Main are rolling up their sleeves and helping out with the real work that goes into what we do. That says a lot about their commitment to making the East Bay a better place to live.”
